About Us
ADL studies the processes that lead to healthy aging, aiming to optimize well-being and independence as people age. We also seek to understand the cultural contexts in which people live to promote healthy communities across diverse social groups. Our work involves partnering with Community Health Workers to implement and support culturally relevant strategies, while fostering learning and teaching opportunities that empower individuals and communities to promote healthy lifestyles.
